About This Tour

Our first stop will be the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, an architectural gem that embodies the beauty of Islamic art and design. Here you will have the opportunity to admire one of the largest Persian carpets in the world, a true masterpiece. We will then make a stop to photograph the imposing structure of the Royal Opera House and its wonderful garden, an example of elegance and refinement. We will then proceed towards Muscat, the ancient capital, where history comes to life. We will admire the strategic position of the city and its imposing historic forts, Al Jalali and Al Mirani, perched on cliffs overlooking the sea. We will pass in front of the majestic Al Alam Palace, the Sultan's ceremonial residence and take a walk along the elegant Diwan buildings immersing ourselves in the unique atmosphere of this timeless city. Finally we will immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere of the Mutrah area. You will explore the colorful Souq, where you will be enchanted by traditional Omani products. You will discover the characteristic Omani hats, called "kumma", artisanal perfumes and splendid wooden and silver artifacts. Tour highlights: Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Opera House, Mutrah Souq, Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts, Al-Alam Palace. Note: For mosque entry, women must wear long sleeves and long pants with a headscarf, while men must wear long pants.
